The world of cooperatives converges in the Philippines as ACCU Forum 2025 opens with a powerful start through its 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀 (𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁. 𝟴–𝟭𝟬) — a dynamic space for leaders, visionaries, women, and youth to ignite fresh perspectives and drive meaningful action for the cooperative movement across Asia.

From cultivating transformative leadership among CEOs, to empowering executives through impactful communication, and inspiring women and youth leaders to shape the cooperative futures — these sessions are about more than skills. They are about purpose, inclusivity, and building a cooperative movement that lasts for generations.

The cooperative spirit shined brighter than ever as the ACCU Forum 2025 Coop Visit brought together delegates from 22 countries, warmly welcomed by 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗣𝗙𝗖𝗖𝗢-𝗡𝗖𝗥 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿-𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀. Each host cooperative opened their doors and their hearts to at least 40 international delegates, showcasing not just operations and systems, but the soul of the Filipino cooperative movement — hospitality, solidarity, and service.

The global cooperative community came alive as the official opening of the ACCU Forum 2025 marked a historic gathering of 𝟱𝟯𝟬 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟮𝟮 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 — right here in the Philippines!

The day began with a captivating cultural performance and an orchestral ensemble that set the perfect tone for a week of learning, collaboration, and inspiration. 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗨 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗸 𝗞𝗶𝗺 formally opened 2025 ACCU Forum followed by welcome messages delivered by 𝗣𝗙𝗖𝗖𝗢 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇 and 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗖𝗢 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗳𝗮𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗚. What better way to open the global cooperative celebration than with a night that truly captured the heart and soul of the Philippines?

𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 was more than just an evening of entertainment — it was a living showcase of our nation’s warmth, culture, and hospitality. From the vibrant cultural performances that opened the program, to the heartfelt welcome messages from our distinguished guests, and finally to the lively music, dancing, and singing led by a live band, the night was a reminder of why we say: It’s more fun in the Philippines!

But beyond the lights and festivities, this night was also about solidarity and gratitude. Through their help, we were able to give our international delegates not only a taste of Filipino tradition and joy, but also a genuine sense of belonging and community. This gathering reminded us that in the cooperative movement, no one stands alone — we rise and celebrate together.

As we sang, danced, and shared smiles with our foreign brothers and sisters in the cooperative movement, we strengthened bonds that transcend borders and cultures. For PFCCO-NCR, this was not just a night of celebration, but a proud moment of showing the world who we are — a people of passion, hospitality, and unity.

These final sessions reminded us that while technology and innovation are crucial, it is the heart of service and mission-centered leadership that will continue to guide cooperatives toward lasting impact.

A highlight for us at PFCCO-NCR was the recognition and award jointly received with NATCCO Working Group from ACCU. This honor was given in appreciation of the time, effort, and commitment poured into making this international forum a resounding success.

For PFCCO-NCR, this recognition is more than a plaque — it is a symbol of unity, collaboration, and shared responsibility. On behalf of our federation, it is both a pleasure and a pride to have been part of this global cooperative milestone, standing alongside partners who share the same vision of empowerment, inclusion, and sustainability.

As Day 2 closed, we are reminded that the cooperative journey is not just about growth — it is about values, purpose, and building bridges across nations. Together, we move forward stronger, guided by heart and inspired by our mission.

If Philippine Night was about showcasing the richness of our culture, 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.

The evening came alive with vibrant performances from each nationality, where delegates proudly shared the songs, dances, and traditions of their home countries. The stage became a tapestry of cultures — a reminder that while we may come from different places, we are bound by one mission: to uplift lives through the cooperative movement.

The energy of the night was magnified with raffles, fun games prepared by ACCU, and of course, the lively beats of the live band that had everyone — leaders, delegates, and guests alike — dancing and singing together.

What made the night extraordinary was not just the music or the festivities, but the spirit it revealed:

Different languages, yet the same warm laughter.

Different nationalities, yet the same joy in unity.

Different stories, yet the same commitment to cooperation.

For PFCCO-NCR, it was truly an honor and pleasure to stand alongside our international brothers and sisters in the movement. This night proved that beyond strategies, policies, and programs, it is our shared humanity that keeps the cooperative spirit alive.
